You may have noticed that the front page of our website got a new look recently. This is because in addition to project news, we now also have a blog! It is called “Voices from the Amazon”, and here you will hear directly from our ATTO team. You can find it right below the “News section” on the front page.
We are kicking things off with a very special post for today’s Day for Woman and Girls in Science. Three women from our team, Sue, Samara and Mira, share their stories of women in science and what sparked their passion as children. Make sure to check that one out!
Beyond that, team members are introducing themselves in a series called “Meet the team”. If you follow us on Facebook, you may have seen these there. But since Facebook is not everyone, we now include them in our new blog for everyone to enjoy. This series will keep going in the future, and we will add a few others. For example, you can look forward to “HIGH-Tech”. In this series scientists will introduce their instruments and other technological devices with which we conduct our research high above the treetops of the Amazon, but also down on the ground and at home in the labs.
